| STAR 29F Bethany 2T ET, sold as Lot 1 in the National Sale in Denver to benefit the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA), set a record high Foundation Heifer price at $100,000. Ken and Carolyn Larson, DeSoto, Texas; Jim and Judy Blin and Randy and Debbie Blin, Independence, Iowa, purchased the heifer. The unique package ensures that the HYFA will continue to reap the benefits of this foundation female for years to come, as Star Lake will continue to care for the heifer and the HYFA will an opportunity for future income from the sale of her progeny. |
