The Donor Section

The purpose of the KCL Donor herd is to identify power cows and increase their influence on our herd and the breed. The cattle in this program fit very strict parameters of performance and progressive breeding ability. The KCL donors are built on the principal of cow families and moving them forward with each generation. Each mating is a calculated attempt to strengthen the cow family and to build on its strengths and fortify its weaknesses. Sires used in the Donor Program must also be designed with these principals in mind.
